Description

🚀 TR-216 Release Wax Ultra Flawless

TR-216 Mold Release Wax is one of the most trusted names in the composites industry for mold preparation.

This carnauba-based paste wax is engineered to create an extremely durable barrier between the mold and the part being manufactured. Featuring the “Ultra Flawless” formula, TR-216 minimizes wax build-up and ensures the final part has a perfectly glossy surface. It drastically reduces the risk of parts sticking, even when subjected to high exothermic heat during the curing process.

⭐ Professional Performance

  • Easy De-molding → Lowers surface tension to guarantee immediate part release.

  • High-Gloss Finish → Leaves both the mold and the finished part with a mirror-like shine.

  • Thermal Resistance → Remains stable during resin catalysis cycles that generate heat.

  • Minimal Build-up → Refined formula that doesn’t leave heavy residue in mold corners.

  • Versatility → Excellent on fiberglass molds, metal tools, and high-gloss painted surfaces.

⚙️ Technical Specifications

  • Type: Solid paste wax

  • Model: TR-216 Ultra Flawless

  • Format: 3.78L

  • Base: Carnauba and synthetic polymers

  • Compatibility: Polyester, Vinylester, Epoxy resins, and Gelcoats

🛠️ How to Use

🔹 Professional Application

  1. Thoroughly clean the mold with a de-greasing solvent.

  2. Apply a thin, even coat of TR-216 Wax using a foam applicator or soft cloth in circular motions.

  3. Allow it to dry for about 5-10 minutes (until a light haze forms).

  4. Buff with a clean microfiber cloth until the maximum shine is achieved.

  5. For New Molds: Repeat the process 3 to 5 times to properly seal the surface pores.

👉 Pro Tip: Wait at least 30-60 minutes between coats. This allows the wax solvents to evaporate completely and the protective film to harden properly.

🛥️ Main Applications

  • Marine Industry: Molding hulls, decks, and structural components.

  • Automotive: Production of carbon fiber or fiberglass body parts.

  • Industrial Molding: Ideal for serial manufacturing requiring superior aesthetics.

  • Mold Maintenance: Long-term protection for forming surfaces.

📦 Available Format
