Description

🚀 Professional Marine Bilge Paint

Bilge Paint is a high-performance coating specifically engineered for the harshest areas of a boat: the bilge and the engine room. These areas are constantly exposed to a cocktail of saltwater, engine oil, fuel, and detergents. Our formula creates a non-porous, chemical-resistant barrier that prevents these substances from penetrating the hull’s substrate.

Main Features

Hydrocarbon & Oil Resistant Specifically formulated to withstand prolonged contact with petrol, diesel, and lubricants without softening or peeling.

High-Opacity Satin Finish Provides excellent covering power and a smooth finish that reflects light, making it easier to spot leaks or debris in dark engine compartments.

Excellent Adhesion Bonds firmly to fiberglass (gelcoat), properly primed steel, and wood, ensuring long-term protection against humidity.

Easy to Clean The cured film is scrubbable and resistant to heavy-duty degreasers, allowing you to keep your bilge pristine with minimal effort.

⚙️ Fields of Application Ideal for:

  • Bilges and sump areas.

  • Engine room bulkheads and floors.

  • Storage lockers and chain lockers.

  • Any interior area subject to high moisture or chemical exposure.

🛠 Technical Advantages

✔ Prevents the absorption of foul odors caused by stagnant water and oils.

✔ High mechanical resistance against abrasion and impact from tools or equipment.

✔ Thixotropic formula for easy application on vertical surfaces and tight corners.

✔ Protects fiberglass from osmotic blistering originating from the inside.

📝 Instructions for Use Preparation

  • The bilge must be completely dry and de-oiled.

  • Use a powerful marine degreaser to remove every trace of grease, fuel, or wax.

  • Sand the surface lightly (Grit P120-P180) to ensure a perfect mechanical bond. Application

  • Stir thoroughly before use.

  • Apply 2 uniform coats by brush or roller.

  • Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.

Final Result A clean, bright, and shielded bilge that is easy to maintain and fully protected against the corrosive mix of marine fluids.
