Norester by Nord Composites is a high-grade isophthalic resin specifically developed for the marine industry. Unlike standard orthophthalic resins, the isophthalic chemical structure offers significantly better resistance to water absorption (osmosis) and higher mechanical strength, making it the ideal matrix for hulls, decks, and structural reinforcements.

📝 Instructions for Use Preparation

  • Surface must be clean, dry, and sanded with a coarse grit (P60-P80) for mechanical bonding. Mixing

  • Add MEKP Catalyst (typically 1.5% to 2% depending on temperature).

  • Mix thoroughly but avoid whipping air into the resin. Application

  • Apply with a brush or metal roller. Use a de-airing roller to remove trapped air from the laminate.

  • Note: Catalyst is required for curing (sold separately or included in kits).
