Teak Tropical Marine Varnish

Specialized high-gloss marine varnish formulated for teak and exotic woods. Offers maximum UV resistance and flexibility to protect precious wood in extreme tropical and coastal climates.

Description

🚀 Teak Tropical Marine Varnish

Teak Tropical is a premium marine flatting varnish specifically designed to treat and protect dense, oily, or exotic woods like Teak, Iroko, and Mahogany. Its advanced formula penetrates deep into the grain while forming a resilient surface shield that prevents the natural oils of the wood from interfering with adhesion.

⭐ Main Features

✔ Extreme UV Shield Packed with high-concentration UV absorbers to prevent the bleaching and silvering typical of teak exposed to intense tropical sun.

✔ Tropical Climate Resistance Specifically tested to withstand high humidity, constant salt spray, and rapid temperature fluctuations without cracking.

✔ High-Gloss Mirror Finish Provides a rich, deep shine that highlights the natural golden and reddish tones of premium timber.

✔ Elastic “Breathable” Film The varnish remains flexible, allowing the wood to expand and contract naturally, which prevents peeling and micro-cracking over time.

🌴 Fields of Application Ideal for:

  • Teak decks, handrails, and bathing platforms.

  • Exterior furniture made of Iroko, Mahogany, or Teak.

  • Window frames and doors in coastal or high-exposure areas.

  • Classic wooden boat restoration.

🛠 Technical Advantages

✔ Optimized for oily woods that typically struggle with standard varnishes.

✔ Superior water-repellent properties (Beading effect).

✔ Easy maintenance: can be refreshed with a light sanding and a new coat.

✔ Professional viscosity for excellent “wet-edge” time and leveling.

📝 Instructions for Use Preparation

  • Ensure the wood is perfectly dry and free from grey fibers.

  • For oily woods like teak, degrease the surface thoroughly with a specific teak cleaner or solvent before sanding.

  • Sand with Grit P120-P180 for the base and P240-P320 for finishing. Application

  • Stir gently—do not shake (to avoid bubbles).

  • For the first coat on new wood, dilute by 15-20% to ensure deep penetration.

  • Apply 3-5 coats for maximum depth and protection, sanding lightly between each.

✅ Final Result A prestigious, high-gloss finish that preserves the life and soul of your exotic woodwork, keeping it protected against the harshest marine environments.
